Jim Synan has been working in the field of education since 1995. Jim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education, a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling , and a Education Specialist Degree in Professional School Counseling, all from the University of Georgia in Athens. Jim has worked with students in K-12 (elementary, middle, and high), as well as students at the post-secondary level. He also is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and works with both children and adults. Jim’s hobbies include playing the bass guitar, as well as serving as a football referee with the Georgia High School Association. He is married to Sharon Synan, and is the proud father of two grown daughters, Virginia and Olivia.
